Dear Altadenans:
Altadena Steadfast, with our partners at Altadena Heritage and friends at Regional Planning and Public Works, is deeply appreciative of how you showed up this past Saturday at our Open House event.
Altadena is a community that believes in itself and believes in the power of place. You showed up eager to engage with us, connect with one another, and to speak your truth about Altadena’s future.
We acknowledge the positive aspects of Saturday's event and we also know that as we move forward we will continue to improve our outreach, to be ever mindful that ours is a community still in trauma, and to be clear that we’re asking the community what it wants and must be guided by that as the work evolves.
In the coming weeks we will share with you the big take-aways and key themes, and will also schedule additional in-person workshops to take a deeper dive into some of those core opportunities. It was so nice to meet all of you!
